Amy Jenkins

Amy JenkinsMs. Jenkins was born and raised in Dallas, Texas. She earned her B.B.A. in Economics from the University of North Texas in 1992. After working in municipal government for a few years, Ms. Jenkins pursued a certificate in Paralegal studies from Southeastern Paralegal Institute.

In 1995, Ms. Jenkins began her legal career as a paralegal at a large law firm in Dallas, Texas. After working as a paralegal for three years, Ms. Jenkins decided to give the lawyer life a go. Amy graduated from Texas Wesleyan School of Law (now Texas A&M School of Law) in December 2001.

After graduation, Ms. Jenkins began her career as an associate at a law firm and moved on to spend time working for Legal Aid of Northwest Texas serving low-income families. In 2007, Ms. Jenkins began to serve clients within the oil and gas industry preparing title opinions, as well as serving clients with estate planning and probate needs. Ms. Jenkins continues to serve clients in her pro bono work with Legal Aid of Northwest Texas. Ms. Jenkins is licensed to practice law in Texas and Oklahoma.

Ms. Jenkins’ estate planning practice focuses on helping families enhance their lives today and secure their futures tomorrow. Amy and her family live in Frisco and are members of First United Methodist Church of McKinney. Amy enjoys travel, photography, and educating her community about estate planning and keeping folks out of court and conflict.
